1. Product Overview

Cationic polyacrylamide is a white granule and it is a linear high molecular compound which is soluble in water. It is nontoxic, odorless and hygroscopic.

Its outstanding feature is the high hydrophilicity which enables it dissolves in water at any ratio while insolubilizes in organic solvents like ethanol and acetone. The active group with positive charge on the molecular chain has excellent effect of flocculation. Different models of products can be chosen according to the properties of sludge. This product can clarify the solution and separate the solid and liquid rapidly by absorbing the solid particles suspending in sewage which can make the particles agglomerate into large flocculate through bridging between particles or charge neutralization. Therefore, this product has a low application dosage, high level of dehydration efficiency and low level of water content in sludge.

2.Field of Application


As a flocculating agent, cationic polyacrylamide is mainly applied in the process of the separation of solids and liquids in some industries, including techniques such as sedimentation, clarification, concentration and sludge dehydration. It is especially suitable for the precipitation of flocculate when there is organic suspended material in acid and subacid solutions. It is mainly applied in industries such as urban sewage treatment, paper manufacturing industry, food processing, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, mineral dressing industry, dyeing industry, sugar manufacturing industry and sewage treatment of all kinds of industries.
