Details:
Separation of red mud deposition is an extremely complex physical and chemical processes
Bayer dissolution of pulp is a suspension, which is formed of red mud and sodium aluninate solution
There are complex physical and chemical effects among the red mud particles, as well as between the particles and the solution
So many factors have great effect on the process of the separation, such as the phase composition of red mud, particle size distribution of red mud, the red mud particle surface morphology and the temperature and more
Very important to choose the most proper flocculant, so that we can not only realize the high speed solid-liquid separation, but also can reduce the size of the equipment
Mechanism of polymer flocculant is to make the red mud particles condensed effectively, by effects of adsorption bridge, surface adsorption and charge neutralization
